光華實驗中文學校國語班簡介
光華實驗中文學校是一所成立已十二年的中文學校｡光華以「教育的專業知識」和「愛的教育理念」來教導孩子們學習中文﹐不但「聽」﹑「說」﹑「讀」﹑「寫」兼重﹐並且注意以中文教學活動來增加學生們學習中文的實用性及興趣｡
在教材方面﹐光華的課程設計因年紀而異﹐國語P、K班以認字為主，用注音符號為正音工具﹔K班採用僑委會編印之「新編華語注音符號」課本﹔一年級至八年級採用僑委會提供的全新版華語課本﹔六年級起並採用由本校老師精心編制的漢語拼音(Hanyu
pinyin)教材﹔九年級至十二年級以在美國各大學中最受歡迎的Integrated
Chinese
課本為主﹐僑委會提供的全新版華語課本為輔｡
除了講究中國語文的傳授外﹐光華一直在為孩子們提供一個優良的學習環境｡除了中文課本的教學之外﹐光華的老師們還盡力擴大孩子們對中文及中華文化的接觸﹐及對中華文化衍生而來的生活教育的了解｡學校也藉著舉辦參觀和討論活動﹐來擴大孩子們對中文及中華文化學習的視野｡讓孩子們在有趣的活動中﹐自然而然的對中文及中華文化學習產生興趣｡
